Zachary David A. Efrona (born October 18, 1987) is an actor and singer. That became operational in early 2000, and became known after a young audience its role in the Disney Channel original movie High School Musical, WB series Summerland, and the film version of Broadway musical Hairspray. In his speech in Newsweek in June 2006, directed by Adam Shankman Efrona described as “possibly the biggest star teenager in America at this time.” In 2007, the eve of the release of High School Musical 2, Rolling Stone declared him “a poster boy for tweenyboppers”, and stressed that in their late August.

Efron was born in San Luis Obispo, Calif., and then moved to Arroyo Grande, California.
